We're delighted to announce that our client, the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) has been selected by leading CMS provider Kentico, as one of their top 10 websites for October 2016.
Here's the story behind their project:
Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is a leading trade association that represents and supports the interest of businesses involved in all aspects of electrical and electrotechnical design, installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and monitoring across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. With around 2,800 Member Businesses and Associates, ECA ensure industry standards are being adhered to while actively working to improve industry and member opportunities.
Unified Solutions Ltd were awarded the web development contract back in late December 2015 and ran the first face to face meetings in early January 2016 walking the ECA through all the phases and workshops of our InSite methodology.
ECA required a website that would look and feel modern, would maximise its SEO and provide dynamic content such as video and animation. They also needed a secure “member-only” area with a filtered set of access rules that would allow certain member types to have access to relevant content. They also required a new search facility that would allow the user to discover members of the ECA within a selected radius of the postcode or town entered which can be further refined by area of work and turnover.
The finished website, built on Kentico version 9 fully integrates with ECA's CRM and mass mailing systems and supports online joining, find a member, newsletter sign-up, multiple new ways to get in touch, downloads and member only content, website search, social media, regional contacts and includes numerous blogs, case-studies, FAQs, news items and events.
Tim Chalklen, MD of Unified Solution states "We're delighted that the ECA's new website has been recognised by Kentico as one of their top 10 website's of the month. This was a great project for the team at Unified to work on and we look forward to working with the ECA in the future as they fully optimise Kentico's EMS features".
